Increased network transparency
With the 'Eco Power Meter' KW2M, Panasonic is launching an energy meter on the market that is used to control energy consumption, monitor energy quality and visualize measured values.
The multifunctional device increases network transparency in the company. The recording of all energy data is the basis for corresponding energy efficiency measures - in addition, by introducing a DIN-certified energy management system, using measurement technology and the corresponding software, users receive subsidies and investment grants from the state to increase energy efficiency. According to the provider, the energy meter can save around 50% of cabling thanks to improved connection technology. The push-in connections also reduce the time and space required for installation. Two Ethernet interfaces make it easy to connect several energy meters from the series. The devices are designed for DIN top-hat rails and are parameterized via the integrated web server.
