Fast-reacting, continuous gas flow monitoring

Innovative Sensor Technology IST is expanding its product portfolio to include the 'SFS Flow Module', a linearized mass flow module for gases that is implemented ready for use in the application.

The IST module is primarily used in gas supply, dosing systems, analysis devices and distribution systems, but is also suitable for process control, for example under protective atmosphere conditions in the low flow velocity range. This makes the module suitable for integration into medical devices as well as for use in environmental technology in measuring devices for gas analysis and for the continuous measurement of emissions (emission monitoring). Thanks to the direction-independent calorimetric measurement, the module offers continuous gas flow monitoring with a response time ≤20 ms. The module is linearized ex works with a reproducibility of 0.2 % and an accuracy of up to 2 % f.s. and is available in three versions for the different volume flows +/-50 sccm, +/-200 sccm and +/-1000 sccm. The flow module also has both an analog and a digital I2C output and is equipped with two address pins.
