Takeover brings new location in Norway
Growth for the Helukabel Group: The supplier of cables, wires and accessories acquired a majority stake in the Norwegian company Primatec at the beginning of the year.
Primatec, a long-standing sales partner that has been working with Helukabel since 1998, is primarily known in its home market as a supplier of special cables and for its expertise in the field of sensor technology. The company, based in Grimstad south of Oslo, has its own storage capacity of around 800 m2, a test laboratory and cutting and packaging technology. "By joining the Helukabel Group, we will become an even stronger partner for our customers and hopefully be able to open up new market shares," explains Managing Director Cato Larsen.
With the new location and the existing branches in Denmark and Sweden, Helukabel is now represented throughout Scandinavia.
