SAB Bröckskes
OCT solutions for servo and motor cables
With the low-capacitance hybrid motor connection cable of the 'SL 875 C' series, the special cable manufacturer has cabling solutions for Sick Hiperface DSL and Heidenhain HMC6 in its range. Adaptations to other standards can be produced on this basis as required. The model variant specified for Hiperface is available as standard in ten versions with outer diameters from 9.8 mm to 24.4 mm. There are also four specifications in the Heidenhain standard with diameters from 10.8 mm to 15.4 mm. Robust, hard-wearing cable sheaths ensure that the cables are sufficiently flexible and stable to permanently withstand tight bending radii, even with minimal wire cross-sections up to AWG 30. To achieve the lowest possible capacitance, SAB Bröckskes has replaced the classic PVC insulation with low-capacitance insulation materials made of PE or PP. Additional small shielding capacitances enable low-loss transmission. For optimum EMC protection, the motor and servo cables have double shielding consisting of braided shielding and an aluminum-laminated PE film. The double shielding enables interference-free operation of frequency converters.
