Tsubaki Cable Carrier

Inka Krischke,

Smooth Guidance for Vertical Dynamics

With the Vertical Guide (TKVG) , Tsubaki Kabelschlepp has developed a solution for vertically suspended applications in intralogistics.

The ready-to-install aluminum guide channel system stabilizes energy chains even over long travel distances and ensures smooth operation. The TKVG is supplied as a complete, ready-to-connect system, including drivers, cables, and strain reliefs. According to the manufacturer, installation is straightforward, and retrofitting into existing RBGs is easily possible. The system is designed for the manufacturer’s “Uniflex Advanced 1555” energy chain and is available for inner widths of 75 mm or greater and a bending radius of 125 mm. Additional series and model ranges can be provided upon request. Fixed-point connections can be selected on the left or right. The cable outlet at the driver can face forward or backward. The mounting distances of the channel brackets can be flexibly adjusted. In addition to rack-and-pinion stacker cranes, the system is suitable for hoists, elevators, construction equipment, crane hoists, and lifts.
