The SM99S and SR99S spring-loaded clamps from Metz Connect offer a connection solution for SPE modules such as the Pericore communication module from Perinet.

With this single-pair Ethernet module, analog sensors and actuators can be integrated directly into IIoT and IoT systems. Areas of application can be found both in industry and in building automation. The coloring of the terminal is intended to reflect the SPE cable color coding. The SPE cable color coding also enables daisy chain configurations. The terminals from Metz Connect have connection cross-sections of 0.2 to 1.5 mm² and a rated current of 9 A.

They also offer push-in technology for wire insertion and a finger pusher for wire release as well as a test tap for continuity testing. The JEDEC 20 MSL 1 reflow-capable, tape and reel-packed spring-cage terminal blocks can be placed anywhere on the PCB as individual samples. They are available as SMT and THR versions.
