Lead-free bolting solutions
To complement the existing portfolio, Lapp is presenting the extensive lead-free 'Skindicht' series - blanking plugs, reducers, extensions, adapters and locknuts.
All lead-free product alternatives with the LF marking in the article number have the same product properties as the previous variants with a low lead content. The new portfolio includes, for example, the adapter Skindicht MA-PG/M, which enables the transition from a PG external thread to a metric internal thread, withstands temperatures up to +200 °C and is designed for thread sizes up to PG36 or M40.
Lapp offers the Skindicht BL-M blind plug (up to +200 °C) and the Skindicht BL-M hex (up to +100 °C) for sealing an unused metric threaded hole on the housing. Both can withstand high chemical and mechanical loads, are also suitable for outdoor use and can be fitted using a slotted screwdriver or open-end wrench. In the case of the Skindicht BL-M hex, a fitted O-ring enables the liquid-tight closure of the threaded/through hole.
