On February 8, 2019, Aktion Plagiarius e.V. "awarded" the negative "Plagiarius" prize to brazen counterfeiters and their sales partners for the 43rd time. The counterfeit products include consumer goods as well as two industrial components.

3rd place in the Plagiarius competition 2019: The copycat - the company Zhejiang Keland Electric Applliance from Zhejiang, China - has adopted all the characteristic design features of the original (left) 1:1; however, the plagiarism of the Staub Cocotte roaster is not made of high-quality cast iron, but of cheap aluminum and costs only a tenth of the original. Various German and European retailers had sold the counterfeit, but have since issued cease-and-desist declarations.
