On February 8, 2019, Aktion Plagiarius e.V. "awarded" the negative "Plagiarius" prize to brazen counterfeiters and their sales partners for the 43rd time. The counterfeit products include consumer goods as well as two industrial components.

2nd place in the 2019 Plagiarius competition: The plagiarized version (right) of the 'Liebherr wheel loader' toy excavator is smaller than the original from the Fürth-based company Bruder Spielwaren (left) - but the design, technology and proportions have been copied 1:1. The cheap materials (housing, wheels...) and the poor workmanship (unstable, loose small parts) reflect the inferior quality, according to the Plagiarius campaign.
