Cables, connectors etc. are the backbone of every factory. The "smarter" the latter becomes, the higher the demands on the passive elements for signal and energy transmission. Computer&AUTOMATION has compiled the latest products from the field of electromechanics.

TE Connectivity has added plastic locking levers to its portfolio of heavy-duty connectors (HDC), which are suitable for industrial applications where stainless steel housings are not required. The robust HDC plastic locking levers made of thermoplastic material meet all the requirements of protection class IP65 and are resistant to vibration and impact. According to the supplier, they are easy to handle and can be mounted on both the cover and the housing. The locking levers can be replaced without tools. Their operating temperature is between -45 and +125 °C. The interlocks are compatible with the covers in the HDC IP65 product range.
