Groundbreaking ceremony for Customer & Technology Center
The symbolic ground-breaking ceremony for Weidmüller's new, almost 12,000 square meter Customer & Technology Center (CTC) took place in Detmold on 23 February - one of the largest investment projects in the company's history.

© WeidmüllerOnce completed, the CTC will be "a beacon for our brand and our company," said CFO Jörg Timmermann at the ground-breaking ceremony. The preparatory civil engineering work on the large construction site had already begun last December. The planned completion of the almost 12,000 square meter building, which will provide space for over 400 employees, is scheduled for the end of 2018. It is the Weidmüller Group's largest construction project at the Detmold site.
