The plug & play solution enables the signaling of events and statuses at the touch of a button or transmitted sensor values and allows manual workstations, remote delivery zones, pick-up points or older machines to be connected to the control system. The solution is based on WLAN-capable push-button boxes and RGB signal lights, which are networked via Rafi 's 'KIS.Manager' web platform and configured for specific applications using logical rules.

For the automated recording of statuses or events, the 'KIS' hardware components each integrate four I/O connections via which sensors or control signals from machines or systems can be connected directly. The input signals processed according to individual rules can optionally control different color states of the signal lights, switch the digital outputs of the push-button boxes or trigger the sending of e-mail notifications.
