Data server for intelligent energy distribution
The Ethernet gateway 'EcoStruxure Panel Server' from Schneider Electric is a data server for the control cabinet that connects intelligent components with each other, regardless of the manufacturer.
Sensors and measuring devices communicating via Modbus RTU and radio can be seamlessly connected to higher-level software solutions and building management systems. For this purpose, the gateway from Schneider Electric forwards the data to edge solutions for further evaluation via Modbus TCP or transfers it to a cloud solution. Compliance with cyber security standards such as IEC 62443 protects the energy distribution system against cyber attacks. The Ethernet gateway is available in three versions: The basic 'Entry' version enables the integration of up to 20 wireless sensors to monitor an electrical system. 'Universal' connects up to 100 wireless and 32 Modbus devices, and offers an alarm function and integrated web server for real-time monitoring of electrical distributions and for energy management. With the 'Advanced' version, users can analyze data from the last three years via the integrated web server.
