Type 1 position switches in accordance with ISO 14119 are used to detect and monitor the position of moving parts on machines and systems as well as sliding or rotating guards. The modular design of the series with universally applicable components across all series reduces the number of variants, reduces warehousing costs and increases availability. All position switches from the PS116, PS2xx and PS3xx series available in the modular system can be selected both as complete switches with actuating element and as basic switches. Depending on the application, the basic switch can be combined with the required actuating element. All actuating elements can be rotated in 45° increments so that adaptation to the specified approach direction is possible at any time. Switching elements with up to three contacts ensure redundant switch-off with an additional signaling contact.
