According to Conec, the connector series is frequently used in process automation and control technology as well as in construction and agricultural machinery and automotive engineering. The cable cross-section for standard parts is 0.5 mm². Other models up to 1.0 mm² are available on request. ATM connectors are specified for a current carrying capacity of up to 7.5 A and are designed as a cable-to-cable connection. The series interlocks securely with the mating connector via a latch without tools. The connection meets the requirements of protection class IP67. The overmolded 2-pin ATM connector is available in female and male versions, both as an open-ended cable and as a connection cable. The open-ended cables with plug (ATM06) or socket (ATM04) can be connected directly to a customer-side plug or to a system of choice. The standard versions are available as open-ended cables in lengths of 2, 5 and 10 m.
