New EMC multiple feedthrough

© Agro

The cable gland supplier Agro, part of the Kaiser Group, is expanding its 'MCE' multiple entry system for shielded cables and wires with new EMC versions.

The EMC variants from Agro consist of two corrosion-resistant and impact-resistant aluminum half shells in six variants with three or eight feed-throughs for cable clamping ranges from 6 mm to 21 mm. For a secure, powerful shield pick-up with low transfer impedances, the units have contact springs from the 'Easyconnect' series, which compensate for tolerances in the shield thicknesses. The special shape of the contact spring results in a large shield clamping range. Circumferential rubber flat seals made of CR and NBR enable tightness up to IP69k. In addition to NBR rubber molded elements in an easy-to-install, slotted design, flexible multilayer seals that can be adapted to different cable diameters are also available as sealing inserts. Customized sealing units, for example with multiple bores, are also available. Unused bushings are sealed with solid rubber sealing inserts. The highly robust, salt spray-tested multiple bushings in accordance with ISO 9227 are suitable for use in temperature ranges from -30 to +105°C, offer strain relief in accordance with EN 62444 (type A) and are REACH and RoHS compliant.
