Use in disk motors

The Combistop 38 spring-applied brake from KEB Automation is often used as 'Version 38S' in disc motors, for example. Its reduced overall length allows it to be used even in tight installation spaces.

According to the manufacturer, the weight is also significantly lower compared to the 'Type 38N/H', which is a decisive advantage for the user, especially when used in weight-sensitive applications.
All torque-forming parts of the brake are made of metal. In the various sizes, the 'Combistop 38S' is therefore designed for a torque of up to 70 Newton meters. Another feature is a generation of friction linings available to order.
