The company STW from Kaufbeuren claims to offer the entire portfolio from sensors, control systems and human-machine interfaces to networking, data management and cloud solutions. This fits perfectly with the hydraulic components, controls and systems of Hawe Hydraulik from Aschheim near Munich. Karl Haeusgen, CEO of Hawe Hydraulik, commented on the partnership announced at the Hannover Messe 2018: "Together, STW and Hawe offer holistic mechatronic solutions by combining component, system and application knowledge across various fields of technology. From control concepts to functional safety and connectivity." This strategic partnership means that manufacturers of mobile machinery now have just one point of contact for the entire drive solution. Both companies want to tackle joint developments from an intelligent modular system.
