Stephan Schech is Managing Director for the GSA Region
The specialist in motion control and positioning systems, Aerotech, has announced new leadership: Stephan Schech has been appointed as the new Managing Director to further strengthen and expand the company’s presence in the GSA region (Germany, Switzerland, Austria).
Stephan Schech, who holds a degree in mechanical engineering, was most recently Managing Director of Elmo Motion Control. He previously held the position of Sales Manager in the Automation Technology division at the Baumüller Group in Nuremberg and was responsible for sales, service and business development in the field of pitch systems for wind turbines at Emerson Electric - SSB Wind Systems GmbH.
"Our goal for the GSA region is to establish Aerotech as the preferred provider of precise motion control and automation solutions. We see great growth potential in the medical technology, semiconductor and mechanical engineering sectors in particular, which we want to exploit by expanding our market share," says Stephan Schech, explaining his goals as Managing Director of the GSA region. He attaches great importance to close partnerships as well as direct proximity to customers.
Aerotech is planning a number of measures to expand its market presence, including increased marketing activities, participation in trade fairs and targeted training. Through strategic partnerships with regional system integrators and distributors, the company also aims to ensure that customers have rapid access to technical advice and support.
