SPS 2023
SPS in 16 halls this year
SPS will take place in 16 halls in Nuremberg from November 14 to 16, 2023. That's two more halls than in 2022 - Halls 3C and 8. 1,300 exhibitors are expected.
The signs are pointing to growth: the current exhibitor booking figures show significant growth for SPS - Smart Production Solution compared to last year's event and thus a development towards pre-corona levels. The organizer, Mesago Messe Frankfurt, is expecting around 1,300 exhibitors and is planning the industry get-together for automation technology in 16 halls.
"Last year clearly showed how important the SPS is once again for automation specialists to engage in the important personal and professional exchange with visitors from the user industries. Demand is now so high that we have decided to expand the exhibition grounds for this year's SPS by Halls 3C and 8 to a total of 16 halls," says Sylke Schulz-Metzner, Vice President SPS.
The newly added Halls 3C and 8
Halls 3C and 8, which have been added this year, focus on the following areas: In Hall 3C, interested visitors will find suppliers from the fields of mechanical infrastructure, control technology and software & IT in manufacturing. These include companies such as Rittal, Eplan, Rockwell Automation and Eaton Electrical Systems.
In Hall 8, exhibitors such as LQ Mechatronik-Systeme, Rose Systemtechnik and Beijer Electronics will be offering a wide range of control technology and human-machine interface products and solutions as an extension and link between Halls 7 and 9.
Friedrich P. Link, Managing Partner of LQ Mechatronik-Systeme: "We are confident about our participation in this year's SPS. In recent years, we have faced up to the crises and challenges and have worked intensively on the further development of our products and services. We look forward to presenting our solutions to our existing customers and new prospects in Hall 8."
Eight main themes in 16 halls
SPS is divided into eight main themes spread across 16 exhibition halls. In the lower half of the exhibition grounds with Halls 1 to 5, the focus is on electrical drive technology, mechanical infrastructure and sensor technology & system solutions, in the middle on industrial communication and software & IT in production and in the upper section of the halls, i.e. Halls 6 to 11, the focus is on interface technology, control technology, human-machine interface and also sensor technology & system solutions.
