Slight decline in global machine sales

The VDMA has announced the figures for global machine sales. According to the figures, this fell by a nominal 1% to 2530 billion euros in 2016. Germany, on the other hand, saw a slight increase.

According to the VDMA, political crises and economic uncertainty around the globe left their mark on the global mechanical engineering industry last year.
