Wittenstein at the Logimat 2024
Secure communication for AGVs, AMR and co.
The safety-certified 'cyber simco drive 2' servo controller from Wittenstein cyber motor is now available with a Profisafe interface.
The safe fieldbus interface is available for the 'SIM2050' and 'SIM2100' performance variants with integrated safety card. These are used, in combination with the drive actuator, in the compact 'cyber iTAS system 2' servo drive system from Wittenstein cyber motorfor automated guided vehicles (AGVs). With an integrated safety card, the basic version of the servo controller already has a two-channel STO function (Safe Torque Off). The SBC (Safe Brake Control) safety functions as well as safe encoder emulation for the safety encoder in the wheel drive and the SP (Safe Position) safety function can be added as an option. Thanks to the Profisafe interface, vehicle manufacturers of AGVs and AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) can design and implement the safety architecture of vehicles more easily. Overall, the safety-certified servo controller and thus the AGV servo drive system meets the requirements of SIL 2 and PL d.
