Differential drive in a new design
Wittenstein launches the 'cyber iTAS system 2' servo drive system.
The completely redesigned, compact servo drive system for automated guided vehicles (AGV), autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and other mobile platforms comes with an industry-standard design that, according to Wittenstein , significantly simplifies the development, design, construction, operation and servicing of vehicles. The system consists of a safety-certified servo controller and a wheel actuator with a load capacity of just 180 mm. The safety architecture has also been rethought - its particularly slim design makes it very easy to integrate. The performance and safety features of the drive system are particularly suitable for AGVs and AMRs in classic and collaborative work scenarios in production, assembly, warehousing and intralogistics.
