Safety-certified multi-axis motor controller
The motor controllers from Pewatron fulfill the safety function Safe Torque Off according to SIL 3.
In mobile robot applications, 'stop' must always mean standstill. And 'always' really does mean always - even if the motor controller is faulty and does not respond. To ensure this, the safety function STO - Safe Torque Off - is being implemented in an increasing number of Pewatron controllers. The STO function fulfills the requirements of the standards
