Robust and precise slotted clutches
KBK Antriebstechnik offers slotted clutches in various designs and sizes. They operate backlash-free and are easy to clean.
In some applications, high torques have to be transmitted in the tightest of spaces, while in others strict hygiene requirements apply. Due to their special geometry, KBK slotted couplings have a compact design, are manufactured in one piece and are therefore insensitive to external influences such as heat or cleaning agents. They are manufactured both with clamping hubs (KBFK) and with half shells (KBFH). The stainless steel version of the KBFK slotted couplings transmit torques between 6 and 240 Nm, while the aluminum version transmits torques between 3 and 180 Nm. They are fitted axially onto the shaft using the clamping hubs and are available with external diameters of 16 to 80 mm.
KBFH couplings are available with outer diameters between 30 and 80 mm. They enable the user to align the shafts precisely before installing the coupling. The couplings can transmit torques between 25 and 240 Nm (stainless steel) and between 10 and 180 Nm (aluminum).
