Project planning Digital twin for virtual commissioning
The benefits of virtual commissioning (VIBN) are well known in the market: Shorter project lead times, higher software quality, optimized system performance, working from home.
More and more system operators are therefore asking their suppliers for the VIBN and the digital twin of the system for validation and training purposes as an integral part of the service portfolio. Suppliers are often unprepared for this.
This is precisely where the Professional Services division of ISG Industrielle Steuerungstechnik comes in: With workshops and training courses, suppliers' employees quickly become experts in VIBN, the introduction of digital engineering is accelerated, personnel bottlenecks in the modeling of digital twins are compensated for by ISG experts and components and assemblies, right up to entire systems, are modeled as a service. Suppliers can thus expand their portfolio quickly and efficiently and are equipped for the future.
Dr. Stefan Scheifele, Head of Professional Services simulation technology at ISG Industrielle Steuerungstechnik, welcomes you to the presentation "Professional Services - Project planning of digital twins for virtual commissioning (VIBN)".
Date: November 24, SPS Connect November 24 - 4:00 - 4:20 p.m.
About Stefan Scheifele
After studying "Automation Technology in Production", Stefan Scheifele worked as a research assistant in the "Virtual Methods in Production Technology" research group at the ISW at the University of Stuttgart.
In close cooperation with a woodworking machine manufacturer, he developed into a specialist for the economic and automated creation of the digital twin of complex and modular machines and systems for VIBN.
At ISG, he is dedicated to the increasing demand from ISG-virtuos users for the design of their development processes and the targeted introduction of virtual commissioning.
