Rummager
Precise and energy-efficient
With the fourth generation of the PH series, Stöber is presenting precision planetary servo gearboxes which, according to the company, are the largest on the market in their performance class.
The latest planetary gearboxes from Stöber can be combined with the compact synchronous servomotors from the EZ series and mounted directly. Without an adapter, the mass moment of inertia is lower and the drive is more dynamic. With motor adapters, the drive manufacturer can connect all suitable third-party motors to the gearbox series. The adapters are available with different couplings and in the ServoStop version with an integrated brake. With the extra-large motor plate in the Large version, users can install motors with a very large design. If required, the PH gearboxes are also available with a drive-in angle stage.
The new PH gearboxes are up to 100 mm shorter than the previous version, which has a positive effect on rigidity and inertia. According to the manufacturer, the gearboxes also require less installation space, are lighter and in some cases offer around 20% more torque and a 50% increase in tilting moment. The acceleration torque is increased by up to 11 %. Thanks to a transmission ratio range of 12 to 600, the gearboxes can be used flexibly. In addition to the standard PH version, there is also a Quattro version: the PHQ series with a four-planet system is also precise with its high-quality helical gearing and offers even greater torsional rigidity.
