The 'Motor Control Platform (MCP)' from Dunkermotoren is a platform for controlling the company's BG motors. A new size complements it.
In addition to the sizes BG 95, BG 65 or 66 and BG 75 as well as the external controller BGE 5510 based on MCP, the next smaller size, the 'BG 45 dPro', is now being launched on the market. With an edge length of 46 mm, it integrates the complete motor electronics into the motor housing. The motor from Dunkermotoren delivers a continuous output power of up to 110 W and rated speeds of up to 4,720 rpm. Thanks to its IP65 rating, the motor is also suitable for use in demanding environments. It offers programmable digital inputs and outputs, an analog input and a 4096 cpr high-resolution encoder. Various current, speed and position modes can also be easily programmed thanks to MCP. The connection is made either via CANopen or with one of the Industrial Ethernet interfaces Profinet, Ethercat or Ethernet/IP. In addition, functions such as condition monitoring, predictive maintenance or alarming & messaging can be implemented via 'nexofox' MotionCode.
