New record for SPS IPC Drives Italia 2019
With 854 exhibitors in six halls, the largest SPS IPC Drives Italia to date closed its doors at the end of May 2019. Over 41,500 visitors used the trade fair to find out about industrial automation solutions, digital technologies and vocational training.
Halls 4, 4.1 and 7 as well as the 'District 4.0' at this year's SPS IPC Drives Italia were dedicated to the question of how manufacturing expertise and know-how can be combined with advanced manufacturing technology. Visitors to the trade fair were able to see how robots can be integrated into the manufacturing process, how industrial machines can be networked with each other and how digital technologies generally increase output and efficiency.

According to the trade fair organizers, the trade fair impressed with its uncomplicated and well thought-out approach to complex topics. For example, lively discussions took place between leading technology suppliers and experts, universities and training institutions about the role of industrial know-how in the factory of tomorrow. The trade fair is organized by Messe Frankfurt Italia with the support of Mesago Messe Frankfurt.
Next year, SPS IPC Drives Italia will take place again at the Parma Exhibition Center from 26 to 28 May 2020 - with the same content, but with a new name: SPS IPC Drives Italia will become 'SPS Italia- Smart Production Solutions'. The sister event of SPS in Nuremberg is thus also taking account of the digital transformation of the industry. Further information can be found on the trade fair website.
