Smela at SPS 2023

Inka Krischke,

Linear actuators independent of the bus system

Smela's 'LiteEco' linear actuators address applications for fixing, adjusting and traversing individual motion profiles, for example in production lines, machine tools, robotics or handheld devices.

The mechatronic system by Smela consists of a servo motor, the mechanics and integrated sensors. The controllability with various drive controllers (motion controllers) makes the linear actuators independent of the bus system and gives the user the freedom of controller selection. The LiteEco Base series integrates all the features of its predecessor 'LE48' and adds features for high industrial requirements. For example, the series offers IP65 and a rotatable circular connector with quick-locking system through which power and sensor signals are routed to the outside via a hybrid cable. In addition, a high-precision optical measurement system has been integrated into an even more compact installation space and the possibility of easy refurbishment has been created. The LiteEco Base series starts with a base stroke length of 45 mm.
