New workpiece carrier system

IWB Industrietechnik is expanding its 'Minitrans' conveyor belt range to include a workpiece carrier system measuring 50 mm × 50 mm.

Workpiece carriers measuring 80 × 80 mm are often too large for small components. The new WT system from IWB has been specially developed to meet the demanding requirements of modern manufacturing processes. It enables the safe and precise transportation of workpieces with small dimensions, which is particularly advantageous in series production. The WT size and the associated travel distance play a decisive role, particularly due to the cycle times. The transport system includes deflection units for 90 or 180° as well as stoppers and centering stations for precise positioning. The WTs are made of wear-resistant plastic and can be adapted to customer requirements.
