Measuring just 120 mm x 36 mm x 25 mm, the CTM solenoid interlock system from Euchner can be integrated almost invisibly into machines. The flexible, elastomer-mounted ball actuator even makes it possible to secure doors with extremely small swing radii from 150 mm. With its special hygienic design, the CTM is particularly suitable for the food and pharmaceutical industries. The bistable guard locking function of the safety switch ensures that the guard locking remains in its current state in the event of a power failure or when the system is switched off. Thanks to its intelligent communication capabilities, it can be connected in series with other devices from the provider. In addition, the integrated interface enables connection to the 'ESM-CB' evaluation unit, which forwards the data to the higher-level control level via IO-Link.
