In future, Escha will have M12x1 connectors with plastic sleeves in its portfolio. Plastic sleeves are a cost-effective alternative to stainless steel sleeves. They are robust and can be tightened both by hand and with a torque wrench. Resistant to media and temperatures, they are particularly suitable for applications in the commercial vehicle and agricultural sectors. The plastic covers are available in four colors (black, grey, red and blue). This makes it easy to mark connectors, allowing them to be quickly assigned or differentiated. Connectors made of special plastics are used in the food and beverage industry. This ensures that the connectors can withstand aggressive media and cleaning agents. Escha has developed a gray plastic cover in 'Hygienic Design' for this application area. It prevents the formation of dirt pockets and is resistant to Ecolab cleaning agents.
