The IS530.1 smartphone from i.safe Mobile has a multifunctional ISM interface. The 13-pin, screwable connection is located on the right-hand side of the device for easy replacement of add-on peripherals outside the hazardous area. Intrinsically safe, active headsets and passive remote speaker microphones (RSM) can be connected to the ISM interface. The amplifier for the passive RSM devices is located directly in the smartphone. The device is rounded off by an intrinsically safe, OTG-capable USB 2.0 port. For example, the HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) module can be used to carry out maintenance and configuration tasks and determine hot areas via an infrared camera. 1D and 2D barcodes can also be read at a distance of 20 cm to over 10 m. The processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon SDM660 Octa-Core), a large internal memory of 64 Gbyte (expandable to 128 Gbyte via microSD) and 4 Gbyte RAM combined with the latest Android version 9.0 provide the basis for a high working speed. The smartphone's main camera has a resolution of 13 MP and the front camera has 5 MP. The device is certified to IP68 and the MIL-STD-810G military standard.
