'Industrial Intelligence' - this is the guiding theme of the Hannover Messe 2019. Computer&AUTOMATION shows an excerpt of the products that can be seen in Hanover in a picture gallery.
The hygienic ultrasonic sensors of the AGVU...H series from EGE for the detection range from 150 to 1500 mm can be cleaned using high-pressure and steam jet cleaners thanks to protection class IP69K. For example, they can be used in the food and beverage industry or in medical and pharmaceutical technology for level detection, distance measurement or presence monitoring as well as for detecting and counting moving objects. The sensors in a robust, fully encapsulated stainless steel housing with gap-free transitions are available in two sizes for different installation conditions, in D30 and the compact D18 design with an overall length of just 30 cm including hygienic cable gland. According to the manufacturer, the integrated temperature compensation enables high measurement precision in the range from -20 to +70 °C. A protective circuit ensures short-circuit and reverse polarity protection. Versions with an analog output (4 to 20 mA) are supplied with fixed characteristic curves, while the desired switching point can be easily set via teach-in for models with a switching output.
