With the iTherm TrustSens TM371, Endress+Hauser presents a sensor technology with a fully automated inline self-calibration function for hygienic and aseptic applications. The hygienic thermometer is intended for users who require complete compliance with FDA or GMP regulations. The core of the temperature probe is a sensor unit consisting of a primary Pt100 temperature sensor and a highly accurate integrated reference. The reference sensor uses a physical fixed point based on the Curie temperature and thus serves to regularly calibrate the primary sensor. This ensures a consistently high measurement accuracy of the temperature sensor throughout its entire service life. The 'iTherm TrustSens TM37x' is supplied ex works with a calibration certificate for the fixed point reference integrated in the sensor, which guarantees the traceability of the calibration chain. In terms of international approvals and certificates, the device has hygiene guidelines in accordance with EHEDG, ASME BPE, FDA, 3-A, 1935/2004, 2023/2006, 10/2011, CE, CRN, TSE Animal Fat Free, CSA General Purpose.
