According to supplier Actronic-Solutions, the ultra-compact Nano series from Copley with up to 70 A(DC) peak is suitable as a servo controller for battery-powered applications at 12, 24 or 48 V up to 180 V(DC) board voltage, such as vehicles or driverless transport systems (AGV, AGV) as well as mobile applications for medical devices or in robotics. The basic features of the servo amplifiers are current, speed or position control as operating modes, Ethercat or CANopen, RS232, ±10 V, PWM, I/O (indexer), stepper, master encoder (electronic gear) for setpoint specification and operation at 9 V(DC) to 90 V(DC) or 20 V(DC) to 180 V(DC). The servo controller is available as a module for soldering/plugging in or with screw terminals. Various feedback options are available, including absolute encoders: Halls, digital incremental encoder and absolute encoder (BiSS-C unidirectional, SSI). The fieldbus connection is made via CANopen or Ethercat. In terms of safety, the servo controller offers Safe Torque Off (STO), SIL 3, category 3; PL e is in preparation.
