The cogging torque has been reduced by up to half compared to Sanyo Denki's conventional DC servo motors. This should enable smooth motor operation even at low speeds and improve the accuracy of device movements. Power loss has been reduced by up to 30% and efficiency has been increased by 10%. This reduces heat generation within the devices and saves energy. The servomotors also have lower brush vibrations and improved rigidity of the motor parts. The noise level has also been reduced by up to 8 dB. In addition to 75 V(DC) models, low-voltage models with 24 V(DC) are also available. All servomotors have a protection class of IP43.
