The 25 mm wide S-DIAS DIN rail modules DC 101 and DC 102 from Sigmatek offer 10 A continuous current and up to 20 A peak current. The motor output stages are suitable for controlling synchronous servomotors (BLDC) with a supply voltage of up to 48 V and provide 480 W without a fan module. The integrated 24 V (DC) output makes it possible to control a holding brake. The axis modules also offer a connection option for an external braking resistor. The two-channel enable input (24 V/3.2 mA/0.5 ms) can be used to implement the STO (Safe Torque Off) safety function, which fulfils Cat. 4, PL e in accordance with EN 13849-1/-2. The two module variants differ in the type of position evaluation. While the DC 101 has a 12-bit resolver for position detection, the DC 102 works with a 32-bit incremental encoder input.
