VDMA2017 will be a year of growth
Carl Martin Welcker announced a real production increase of 1% at the VDMA's economic press conference. The association president thus confirmed the forecast for the mechanical and plant engineering sector for this year.

... as in 2016: Despite the uncertain global economic environment, German machinery exports once again reached an all-time high, rising by 400 million euros or 0.2% to 155.9 billion euros. Imports of mechanical engineering products increased by 3.6% to 64.3 billion euros.
