Wittenstein at the Hannover Messe 2024
Focus on digitalization
The motto of Wittenstein's trade fair appearance is "Shaping the world of cybertronic motion". The focus will be on cybertronic and mechatronic drive technology in the context of advancing digitalization in industrial innovation segments.
Specifically, gearboxes from Wittenstein alpha will be on show in Hanover, which are both intelligent and capable of communication thanks to 'cynapse' functionality (image), thus laying the foundation for smart services, new digital business models and innovative future technologies - as demonstrated, for example, by the application in Oceanenery's Kite Hydrogen Ships for the production of green hydrogen.
One highlight from Wittenstein cyber motor is the safety-certified 'cyber simco drive 2' servo controller with Profisafe interface, as used in combination with a drive actuator in the compact 'cyber iTAS system 2' servo drive system for automated guided vehicles (AGVs). The Profisafe interface makes an important contribution to the 'Next Level Safety Architecture' by reducing the complexity of safety and control technology and cutting the time and costs involved in commissioning and servicing AGVs. It also simplifies the configuration and documentation of the safety architecture.
At Wittenstein galaxie, the two application- and performance-optimized gearbox series 'Galaxie robustness line' and 'Galaxie accuracy line' will be presented - as well as digital twin concepts based on them, through which the life cycle of the products at the user can be networked with that in the direct manufacturing environment, thus generating higher digital added value.
Wittenstein motion control will be presenting a redundant AC servo drive especially for off-shore natural gas extraction. The special feature of the all-electric actuator is that it can be integrated into the condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of the production station from a depth of up to 3,000 m.
