Portfolio expanded to include powerful DC motors
The '1218 SXR' and '1228 SXR' DC motors expand Faulhaber's DC motor portfolio. According to the supplier, they are characterized by higher performance as standard and a wider range of equipment options.
The DC motors offer flexible voltage variants from 3 V to 18 V as well as various bearing configurations. In addition, the motors can be individually adapted - from front and rear shaft adjustment to options for vacuum and temperature environments. The optimized rotor balancing contributes to smoother synchronization and a long service life of the motors.
At the heart of the new SXR family from Faulhaber is the hexagonal winding technology with a high copper fill factor and a high straight component. According to the manufacturer, this technology enables significantly increased performance and efficiency compared to technology with conventional pin coils. In addition, the use of higher quality magnets ensures a stronger magnetic field and contributes to improved temperature stability.
All components in the series are RoHS-compliant and the electrical connections offer flexible configuration options.
