Expansion to the product family
Nord Drivesystems is expanding the 'LogiDrive' concept to include new markets and products, making the geared motor variants available for additional applications.
LogiDrive is an energy-efficient, standardized modular system: different Nord products are combined to create a drive solution depending on the industry and objective. The extended LogiDrive solution range is aimed at conveyor applications in the Post & Parcel, Airport and Warehouse sectors and includes an Advanced variant with IE5+ synchronous motor technology and a Basic variant with IE3 asynchronous motors. While the Advanced drives address issues such as energy efficiency, variant reduction and total cost of ownership (TCO), the focus of the Basic drives is primarily on cost efficiency.
All systems are easy to maintain and install thanks to plug-and-play technology. The entire system has a modular design so that all drive technology components can be serviced individually. All connections are made via simple plug-in connections, while integrated maintenance switches and manual operating switches also ensure user-friendliness.
