According to the manufacturer, the VE31 gearbox from Groschopp in a robust aluminum housing has a particularly smooth surface, is easy to clean and therefore meets increased hygiene requirements - for example in the food, packaging, pharmaceutical or chemical industries. The gearbox is available painted as standard or, if required, hard-coated, silver-coated and in stainless steel. It can be flexibly combined with the supplier's 'IGK' and 'IGL' induction motors.

The VE31 is available in versions with cover, output shafts, base, flanges, solid or hollow shaft. Depending on the reduction ratio, operating mode and lubricant, the gearbox has a torque of up to 25 Nm and a reduction ratio of up to i = 75. Lubrication with mineral grease is offered as standard or optionally with synthetic grease or synthetic or food-grade grease.
