Danijel Sesar takes over the management of Stöber Switzerland

Since August 1, Danijel Sesar, as Managing Director of the local subsidiary, has been tasked with establishing the drive specialist Stöber as a strategic partner in the Swiss mechanical engineering sector.

Stöber is pushing ahead with its international focus and expanding its Swiss subsidiary. The drive specialist has appointed Danijel Sesar as Managing Director. The 41-year-old mechanical engineer has experience in industrial production, including automation, mechanical and plant engineering, aviation and refrigeration technology. He also has in-depth knowledge of international sales and marketing and has held management positions for many years, including Chief Operating Officer (COO), department and project manager.

"Stöber is currently still too little known in the Swiss market," says Danijel Sesar. "We want to change that with the reorganization of the site. In my new role, I would like to contribute to Stüber being perceived as a strategic partner in drive technology."

He sees the proximity to the production site in Germany and the employees' many years of experience as particular strengths. Sesar emphasizes: "Switzerland stands for precision and quality. With our system solutions consisting of servo controllers, gearboxes, motors and - if required - gear racks, we can optimally meet the high quality requirements of successful mechanical engineering companies. The strong engineering country offers great potential that we have not yet exploited."

Although the current challenges for the Swiss mechanical engineering industry are high, Sesar sees good long-term growth prospects - particularly in the areas of packaging technology and automation. In view of the planned expansion, STOBER is planning to strengthen its sales team in the short term.
