Cliff Jolliffe heads up the automation division
Effective July 1, 2017, Dr. Cliff Jolliffe has assumed responsibility for global business development in the field of industrial automation at PI. The position has been newly created.
Cliff Jolliffe has been working in the automation market for 24 years and has held various positions at a well-known company for positioning and control systems over the past 15 years - for example as branch manager, manager for the Laser Medical and Micromachining divisions. He was also responsible for the sale of control systems throughout Europe.
Jolliffe has a PhD in the design of electric motors. He is recognized by the UK government as an expert in the field of automation and chairs a cross-industry scientific advisory board.
PI is a specialist in precision positioning technology. PI has been developing and manufacturing standard and OEM products with piezo or motor drives for 40 years. With four locations in Germany and fifteen foreign sales and service branches, the PI Group is represented internationally.
