As a cuboid measuring 198 mm x 28 mm x 21 mm and weighing 235 g, the product with protection class IP65 is particularly suitable for safe integration into frequency converters or servo controllers. Like the manufacturer's more powerful series, the BWx225xxx is also a safe resistor for voltages up to 1000 V. According to the supplier, no consequential damage is to be expected even in the event of continuous overload, provided the maximum surface temperatures are observed. There is no need to worry about short circuits or short circuits to the body, the aluminum housing remains stable and there is no risk of fire from the resistor.
Alternatively, the resistor can be assembled with connectors for direct connection to the inverter.
