In Germany, around 20% of companies use AI solutions, an increase of eight percentage points compared to the previous year. Microsoft is driving this development forward with 'copilot agents'. Initially assistive technologies are evolving into autonomous systems that can make decisions and control processes independently.

Cyber Resilience Act adopted by the EU
The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) was announced for a long time and has now been officially adopted on October 10, 2024. This means that new EU-wide minimum security requirements will apply to a large number of networked devices and their software from November 2027 - vulnerability reporting obligations will even apply from August 2026.
