We are looking for an Editor (m/f/d) Digital & Print for our editorial office in Haar near Munich.
Your tasks will include:
- Independently writing, acquiring and editing specialist articles for print and digital including social media and business platforms
- Conducting research and interviews
- Content conception and thematic design of congresses, forums and special projects
- Preparing complex technical topics for the target group in the automation technology, process and manufacturing industry
- Regular participation in press conferences and industry-specific trade fairs, seminars and events
- Close networking with relevant industry partners from the automation technology and IT, software and digitalization sectors
- Maintaining and expanding our contacts with associations, manufacturers, universities and research institutions as well as our readership
Your profile is:
- Journalistic training with a technical focus or a technical university degree (engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, computer science, etc.)
- Industry knowledge and affinity to the target groups of automation technology, process and manufacturing industry
- Editorial experience advantageous (print, digital, social media)
- High affinity for technology
- Excellent German language skills, good English skills an advantage
- Sense for trends and topics as well as strong style and copywriting skills
- High quality awareness, motivation, communication skills and responsibility for results
- Representative and self-confident appearance
