Engineers are particularly in demand in the automotive sector: according to the Staufenbiel study, one in five companies has a need for them. Mechanical and plant engineering is also in second place. In this sector, Staufenbiel recorded significant growth compared to the previous year: the figure rose from 12% to 16%.
